Meet Your Encino OrthodontistsBecause they believe in giving their patients at Orthodontics LA the best experience possible, both Dr. Artin and Dr. Mel have undergone the extensive process to become board-certified orthodontists.
Dr. Artin comes from a family of dentists and he has wanted to be an orthodontist since childhood. After completing his bachelor’s degree at UCSD in Biochemistry and Cell Biology, he went on to pursue his education at Loma Linda Dental School. After, he interned at Roseman University and went on to finish his orthodontics residency there in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Mel has always been passionate about helping people and it clearly shows in her work! She completed her undergraduate and dental school degrees at UCLA, achieving top honors and awards for “Excellence in Patient Comprehensive Care”. Afterward, she finished her three-year post-graduate residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
